The President of Big T Sports is an avid outdoorsman and businessman, who has grown up in a competitive outdoor family that loved adventure and exploration. Having three brothers gave Anthony the drive to succeed and the competitive spirit that has allowed him to pursue his many goals. Anthony's entrepreneurial spirit started early and at the age of 11 he established his first business. "Anthony's Snow Shoveling", started in his hometown of West Orange New Jersey, employed family and friends and operated for 7 years until Anthony embarked on his college career at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. Anthony's academic pursuits led him to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Anthony then enlisted in the United States Army as a Combat Medic, where his served his country with pride and dedication for five years. Not only is Anthony still on active duty, but he is also enrolled in the ROTC program at George Mason University's Public Policy College to earn his Master's Degree in Peace Operations. Anthony's experience with the U.S. Army and his personal camping and hunting love and knowledge, make him not only an outdoor enthusiast, but also an expert on outdoor equipment. Anthony has a vast and hands-on knowledge of camping gear, hunting gear (including rifles, scopes, and equipment), survival gear, military gear, hiking gear, lighting, outdoor cooking, GPS and Tracking Gear, and almost anything to do with being in the outdoors.
Daniel teamed up with his brother Anthony to create Big T Sports while finishing his college degree from Villa Julie College. Daniel brought along his competitive spirit and combined that with his 20 years experience in fishing and boating to run the day to day operations at Big T Sports. Daniel personally oversees each order that passes through Big T Sports to make sure it is met with professionalism and attention to detail and to make sure each customer receives the products they order with the highest level of personal, family-oriented service. Daniel is our resident fishing expert and has been known to slip away at any given opportunity to find that perfect fishing hole. Whether on a boat or walking a streambed, Daniel knows fishing and thinks about his next fishing trip 24 hours a day. Daniel is also an accomplished seaman and has a vast knowledge of boating, boating safety, cartography, fish finding, and water sports. Where Anthony excels on land, Daniel excels on the water.
Hailing from York, Pennsylvania, Jeff studied Communications at Towson University where he graduated with honors in 2006. Jeff is an avid outdoor person who shares a taste for the more extreme side of outdoor adventure and Sport. When not operating at the branch office in Alexandria, VA, Jeff enjoys skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, and the martial arts. Jeff has succeeded in personally "stress testing" much of the outdoor equipment we offer and his vast knowledge has greatly assisted Big T Sports in offering only the best equipment at the most competitive prices.
Theresa was born in Florida and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania which gives her a great background in diverse populations, climates, and environments. Theresa has combined her knowledge of these areas with her winning customer service to work as the marketing manager since 2007. Theresa ensures that all of Big T Sports marketing materials and advertisements enable our customers to have the best buying experience as possible. Theresa is a proud mother of Kailey and balances work and family life to ensure her home family and the Big T Sports family receive the love and dedication that they deserve.
Raised in West Orange, New Jersey, Vajaah is a childhood friend of Daniel Monfet. She earned a B.A. in Graphic Design from American University in Washington, DC. Vajaah joined our team in the summer of 2008 and ensures that our online sites and stores exude the integrity of our brand. She works diligently to guarantee that each customer's shopping experience is functional and visually pleasing.
Kyle was born and raised in West Orange, NJ and is a friend of Daniel's from childhood. Kyle graduated from Stockton College in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Business Management. He will take those skills and put them to use while managing our warehouse operation in our main location in Alexandria, VA. Outside of work, Kyle is an avid soccer player, traveling the world to show off his skills.
