BEST FLASHLIGHT EVER!!!!!!! Mar 16, 2010
This is the best flashlight I have ever owned bar none!! The beam is SUPER BRIGHT! Nicely focused. The light is extremely well built. You can use this thing as a backup for your car's headlights in an emergency! Forget Mag-Lights forever and get a hold of one of these bad boys!!!

for a flashlight that is not much bigger than a fat pen, the light has incredible light. i carry it in my shirtpocket and it hasn't failed me yet. a lot of light in a small package. i would recommend it.

I ordered one of these a few months back due to all the favorable reviews. I've carried it daily in the holster on my belt during that time.
First let me say I like these LEDs that use standard batteries. AAs and AAAs are much cheaper to run especially with good high end rechargeable. For something this small, this LED does a decent job as a close-use flashlight. You will NOT being using it for any distance over 10 feet.
There are a few problems I have with the light. First, it is a very blue light, so I would not suggest this to anyone that might have to differentiate between say... a green wire and a blue wire, etc. You get the idea. Secondly, the clip design on the thing could have been better. Simply making it non-rotating, would have solved the scratching problem when removing the batteries. Third the batteries are very loose in the light and will rattle and lose contact. If the light is dropped, it sometimes goes out. I don't care for having to tap the light to get it to come back on. Finally, when the batteries get too low to power the led, they just cut out. You go from a working light one second, to nothing the next. I have several LEDs that will drain a AAA battery to nothing so that you have, at least, some light. This one will surprise you, and leave you high and dry right when you need it the most.
Don't get me wrong, for something that is a penlight, it's not bad. It's just not as great as others would lead you to believe. I'm giving it 3 stars for being OK.

This is an awesome little light. Streamlight only builds quality lights so I would expect no less. Runs off readily available AAA batteries and is surprisingly bright. If you enjoy using your flashlights then I'm sure you'll be very happy with your $20 purchase.

Bought a single cell Streamlight, liked it so much ordered this 2 cell the following week. Very bright and sturdy, highly recommend.
