 Excellent flashlight from Mag Sep 03, 2010
I really, really, REALLY wish Mag wasn't discontinuing this! It's a really great light that runs a very long time on 4 batteries. I have several of the 3 D cell LED lights as well. The last a very long time but the four cell runs 10-12 hours longer. Grab one if you can get it!

Hace poco compre esta linterna, a continuación presento un resumen de pros y contras:
PROS:
.- Cuerpo robusto
.- Perfectos acabados, no hay aristas ni partes sin pulir.
.- Ajuste perfecto, no hay ruidos de partes flojas
.- Buen chorro de luz, amplio y potente, aproximadamente 100 metros
CONS:
.- nada, todo perfecto
Excelente para vigilancia, iluminación de vida nocturna...sería espectacular si se pudiera poner lentes de colores para exploración nocturna.
 Didn't Receive LED version Jun 22, 2010
I ordered this item off of my husband's wish list for father's day. It was processed through Amazon for Andrew Christian, which I assume is an affiliate. The flashlight I received was the standard 4 cell Mag-light rather than the LED version. The flashlight is great, but my husband already has one and really wanted the LED version. We found later that you can purchase an LED bulb upgrade for Mag lights - which is 1/2 the price of the entire flashlight and super bright. If you already own a Mag and just want to upgrade to an LED, that is probably the best route to go. I don't fault Amazon or Mag for shipping the wrong product. In the end we decided to keep it rather than spend more money on return shipping - I'm sure the actual LED version of the light is great - however, beware of buying it from Andrew Christian because you may not get what you pay for.

when I bought it back in nov of 2k9 it was for 28 bucks, none the less it is a mag-lite so well worth the current price. it gives off a ton of light, consumes less battery and is just as rugged as my older model I had!! get it and don't think twice!!

Fantastic! Improving on a Maglite is an impressive thing. Incredibly bright light to see the bears at the campground...
