 Leatherman 934870 40 bit Assortment Aug 28, 2010
Sort of pricey? I plan to carry this bit assortment in my glove compartment of my truck or ATV. You know it will be in the wrong place every time I need it. I should buy a second one? I will never use all of these bits. I wish leatherman made a good awl with an eye and put it in the bit set. Not sure a normal man would ever need this bit set but, I am a junk junkei. However, if you are into surivial kits you need a wave or surge and one of these bit sets in it.

I thik that others have mentioned that bits expand the use of the multitool greatly and are certainly worth having. I have owned Leatherman tools since the first version was available. This is the second set of the add-on tool bits that I purchased for my Charge. The first set had a clear platic bit holder much like the manufacturer photos illustrate. The second set have the black bit holder. The original bit holder cracked apart when carried behind the Leatherman in the sheath causing some bits to be lost. The plastic was more riogid and suject to age cracking. The second appears to adress these problems. I am still carrying the bits in the ugly acessory case. I may move them to the sheath when I am convinced the holder will not self destruuct.

The leatherman bit assortment was delivered when expected and was as represented. A great addition to the leathermen multitool.

This bit set adds a lot of versatility to leatherman tools. One word of caution make sure the bit is fully inserted before folding the tool up.

Great ad-on to my leatherman. I would love to se a set that includes security bits also!
The nylon sheath that comes with the bits is USELESS! I can already carry these bits in the same sheath as my wave or TTi so why include it?! Its a waste... having done with my rant i'm going to go take apart a robot now...thanks :)
